Friday

Week of January 9-13

Monday 9th - Today I checked the maps to make sure they were colored (for 10 points) and we finished labeling the maps today. I also did a binder check for 50 points, so if you were absent make sure I see your binder when you get back! Homework: finish your maps - due tomorrow!

Tuesday 10th - Today we turned in our maps, played a flash card activity, and learned how to name things in Spanish (with rules and whiteboard practice). I also spent some time reviewing the maps the students created of Spanish speaking countries and preparing them for their map quiz. No homework.

Wednesday 11 - Today we did a sample map quiz, with help and suggestions for me on how to succeed on the real map test. No homework.

Thursday 12 - Today we did a second sample map quiz and reviewed it. We also started our lesson project, which is described on the packet and involves drawing a map of your own fictional country and labeling it in Spanish, including naming things. No homework.

Friday 13 - Today we continued to work on our map projects and reviewed vocabulary. Homework: finish your map projects, which are due Tuesday. Also, study for your map quiz and Lesson 9 vocab quiz, which will be Wednesday.
