Lesson 12 Project Notes - A Floor Plan

* For this project, you will create a floor plan of a 3 level "dream" house. You will need to draw rooms and furniture according to our vocabulary list.

* You will need to draw and label in Spanish vocab words 1-24, plus las escaleras, la silla, la puerta, and la mesa.

* You can draw more than one of an object (such as several chairs around the dining room table), but you only have to label them in Spanish once. In other words, after you label la silla once, you don't have to label every other chair you draw in the house.

* Coloring is optional. If you do color it, you will receive a 5 EC point certificate to be used on any upcoming test.

* Each floor plan can be put on a separate side of white paper. You will also need to include a drawing of the outside of your house, with labels if necessary (such as la acera)

* Have fun with this assignment - you can put in other rooms (such as a swimming pool, bowling alley, etc) but try to label them in Spanish using a dictionary. :-)

* This project is due Friday, April 20th for 60 points!

Week of April 16-20 (AIMS WEEK)

As per school policy, I will not assign any homework during AIMS week. Here is what we are doing in class. We will have 25 minute classes.

Monday-Thursday: These four days we will be working on our Lesson 12 project, which involves creating a floor plan design of our dream house and labeling the rooms and furniture in Spanish. On Thursday of last week I had the students take notes on the requirements for this assignment. You will find these notes on a separate post.

Friday 20: Today our floor plans were due and we did an oral activity with them. We also organized our binders for the last quarter.
