Field Trip to El Coqui Puerto Rican Restaurant
On Friday the 3rd of February I passed out permission forms to all students about our upcoming field trip to El Coqui, the Puerto Rican restaurant on Broadway just west of Wilmot. The field trip will take place from 11:30 - 1:00 on Monday, February 20th.
* Every student, whether or not he or she is going, needs to return to me a permission form no later than Monday the 13th. I must have an accurate head count to give the restaurant by then. So, if you were absent on Friday and didn't get a form, make sure to get one!
* The permission form has a section for parent volunteers to fill out if they would like to help drive and chaperone
* The trip costs $9 cash. I know this is a bit hefty, but this price includes tax and gratuity and it is for a buffet lunch. Also, the restaurant is opening up just for our school (they are normally closed on Monday). The money should be turned in to me in an envelope or bag along with the permission form if possible. The money can also be turned in after turning in the permission form, as long as I have it by Friday the 17th.
* If you have any questions, feel free to email me at jmiller@atmschool.net. Thanks!
