For a 5 point extra credit certificate good for any test or quiz, do the following and turn it in to me by this Friday:
On a sheet of paper, write up a situation in which you have used your budding Spanish skills outside of class. This can include actually speaking Spanish to someone else, being able to read written Spanish somewhere, or understanding parts of someone else's Spanish conversation. You should write about 1 paragraph of 8-10 lines. If your information about one experience doesn't fill up that much, include multiple experiences if possible.
Some things to ponder and maybe include are: Where were you? To whom did you speak, or who was speaking? What did you say? What vocabulary did you use? What did you understand? How did it make you feel to use your Spanish - frustrated? Excited? Good? Basically describe the whole experience to me in as much detail as you can.
